Hey There
It's been a while. Nothing much is new. Had a few shows. Taught a few classes. Drank some tea. Talked about politics at the bar, the bowling alley, several theaters, my kitchen, friend's kitchens, on the phone, on the street, on the bus, on BART, and anywhere else I've been in the last 2 months. Read a few plays. Watched some movies. Had some tasty food. Left many many long voicemails on Marcus's phone. Planned vacations (Portland for Thanksgiving, Phoenix/Tucson for Christmas, and Mexico City/Zacatecas in April to visit Zach). Spent long evenings in a booth at Noc Noc with Mario. Felt the burn of not having an entire day off since sometime in August. My life is pretty boring, and busy and stressful and completely wonderful. Yesterday, I sat in my kitchen working away on my lappy, drinking tea, wearing slippers and my grandmother's overly large extra comfortable sweater, and made split pea soup. I welcomed fall in a most delightful way, listening to the rain and enjoying the grey. Don't you wish you were here to sit in my kitchen, have a cup of tea and a bowl of soup, and listen to the rain? It's quiet and still and perfect. As long as you have warm socks.
